IAKS Nordic study tour to Gothenburg

IAKS Nordic are very glad to invite you to a study tour to many exciting facilities around the City of Gothenburg. During the day, you will see the numerous facilities at the large sports area “Kvibergs sport field” and the ancient sports area Slottsskogsvallen. All presentations during the study trip are held in English.

Examples include facilities such as:
• Kviberg ice and sport hall, featured in sb-magazine 1/2024,
• Serneke Arena, with an indoor cross-country skiing area, two sports halls, indoor soccer pitch and much more
• Beach Center, with 16 indoor beach volleyball courts
• Slottsskogsvallen, a 100-year-old track and field arena, just updated to a modern standard without losing the historical value
• The new activity park Entréparken
• Östermalmshallen Padel, featured in sb-magazine 5/2024,

During the study tour, the city of Gothenburg will tell you a little about how they work with sports facilities in Gothenburg.
The bus leaves Hotel Gothia Towers at 08.30 and returns to the hotel at 17.00. Lunch will be served at Serneke Arena.

Dinner and prices

After the study tour, IAKS Nordic invites all participants and all IAKS members to a three-course dinner (alcoholic beverages are not included) at the restaurant “Epoque” at 19.00. Address: Södra Vägen 8 (600 meters from the Hotel Gothia Towers). Maximum 40 people for dinner, first come, first served.

The prices for the study tour include a bus from and back to the Hotel Gothia Towers and lunch. If you want to attend the dinner, specify that in the booking.

IAKS members: 60 €
Non-members with a ticket to Sport summit: 75 €
Other non-members: 90 €
Dinner (including wine package): 110 €
Dinner (without wine package): 70 €

The study tour is an independent part of the conference Sport Summit (March 11-13, 2025), in collaboration with The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre.

On March 12, the conference Sport Summit will have six international seminars arranged in collaboration between the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and IAKS Nordic. All IAKS members have a 20 % discount on all tickets to the conference.
