Executive Board

André works as Agency Manager for Active Lives at the City of Fredrikstad, Norway. His department is responsible for: overall strategic planning and development, and building of facilities, which gives their citizens possibilities to engage in organized and self-organized sports, outdoor activities, daily physical activity and urban active possibilities. They manage public fundings, and initiates programmes in accordance to overall strategic goals. The city of Fredrikstad is applying for the Global Active City label in 2020, and he is engaged in the citizens opportunities to be active as a health preventive tool in public sector. André has former worked as university and high school lecturer in sports and physical education. André was elected president by the executive board of IAKS Nordic in April 2021.

Esben Danielsen is chief manager of culture in the city of Copenhagen. He was CEO of the Danish Foundation for Culture and Sports Facilities from 2015-2020. Since the early 1990’s Esben has been involved in organizations of the music industry. In 2010 he became Head of Development for the Roskilde Festival where his work consisted of “city planning of a temporary city for 130,000 inhabitants”. As Head of Innovation of the special unit 'Roskilde Festival Orange Innovation' he developed new experiences, events and products for the whole Roskilde Festival group. Esben was president of IAKS Nordic from 2018-2021.

Flemming is highly skilled and experienced in architecture within the sports and culture facility sector. He is partner and architect in the Danish architecture firm Keingart - Space Activators.   

Bjørn is a senior engineer at the Center for Sports Facilities & Technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He is a highly valued member of two IAKS Expert Circles, respectively "Swimming Pools" and "Outdoor Sports Surfaces", being an international expert on artificial turf in the latter.

Daniel is an expert in sports and leisure facilities and responsible for areas concerning all facilities at the Swedish Gymnastics Federation.

Ola Matsson is a development consultant at the Danish Foundation for Culture & Sports Facilities. Orginially from Norway but has lived in Denmark for 25 years. Ola is experienced and highly skilled in developing and consulting on construction of modern facilities for sports and leisure activities.    

Lisa is an experienced chief executive officer with 10 years of working in the sports industry. She is today manager of Tverga, a resource center helping municipalities and local initiatives in developing sport and leisure facilities for self organized sports.
