Developing active cities: Global strategies and initiatives

What a great start on 5 November: The first session of the 26th IAKS Congress is devoted to international, national and local initiatives from around the globe. Experts will present global strategies and planning models to make cities better places for active living.

Discover the IOC strategy on sustainable development. Learn about the “Global Active City Label and the Active Well-Being Initiative” which will be presented by TAFISA Secretary General Wolfgang Baumann. Sport England Director of Property Charles Johnston will give an insight in the “Development of sports and leisure facilities in the United Kingdom”.
